Today is super fun! It is our 3rd Anniversary... and we are skipping town tonight to go stay in a bed and breakfast in Gettysburg... and I have off for 5 days!!! Love that. I am excited about the time to spend with the hubby, excited about interviewing with the churches in the area and finally moving forward with things there, excited about staying in the bed and breakfast on the battlefield in Gettysburg... I am excited about sleeping in a couple days... it is just going to be good times!!! Apparently, the third anniversary gift is leather. Dax likes to stick to the traditional gifts... I think I have a hunch what he is trying to get! He has said that he wants to be the one to get gifts for me... and he would rather me not get him stuff on our anniversary... too sweet!!! I stupidly drove into work today ... and shouldn't have. There was a 2 hour delay for a reason!!! The roads were really bad... and I was slipping more than it was necessary. I just wanted to get in and put in a full day... because I will be out for the next two days. Anyway... whatever... looking back .. that was just dumb. But I am here. Should have stayed home and hung out with the hubster. It is our anniversary for goodness sake!!!

I am ready for life to slow down a little bit.... Yesterday I had my car broken into while I was in the boat house erging. It happened between 5:15 and 6:30. They just went for my purse... which was my favorite purse that I got in Paris last year. They smashed in the drivers side window, and only took the purse. It had my wallet and my new phone in it. Total bummer. Not only is it a pain in the butt to cancel all my credit cards, have to get a new drivers license, and replace my phone, but we also have to get the window fixed. Dax is doing that today. It is just a huge inconvenience... and expensive. We searched the area, taped up the window and waited for the police to come to do the report. It was all very annoying. No one has ever been broken into there before. I just happen to be the lucky one. But, today we got in the water. It was a most frustrating day... but we got in the water. The sunrise was great... and the scenery is actually breathtaking. I loved that part... I loved actually getting in the boat... but it was very scary... and I felt like a RETARD when it came to handling the oar. So, lots to do there... lots to learn... etc.
